Description
This is a story of music, friendship, poetry, a boy and a girl. But this isn’t a fairytale. Fairytales don’t involve a girl running away from her abusive and somewhat melancholic childhood or a boy suffering from a disease that makes him look old enough to be the girl’s grandfather.
Fast forward after a brief encounter, the two of them learn what it’s like to have someone to confide in and thanks to their interest in cereal, superheroes and poetry, life becomes a little easier to handle.
Life doesn’t discriminate based on age when it comes to giving you a hard time. These two know that well enough but somehow through their shared experiences of pain, loss and broken dreams comes a much deserved and much-needed friendship.
