Flightless Bird

Little boy pens a heartfelt letter to God. Something is stolen from a girl, but she is happy about it. A distressed girl reads an unfinished story day after day, trying to find out the ending. A bird with clipped wings find joys in other things. This collection of stories and poetry brings together a medley of emotions: joy, pain, sadness, hope, and love. Each story and poem in Flightless Bird explores a myriad of emotions that reign the hearts of many but are suppressed. Drawn largely from personal experience, Flightless Bird is, among other things, the tangible representation of an adolescent girl?s dreams, hopes, wishes, and fears regarding life and all the experiences that it has given her, as well as is yet to throw at her.
