Roots In Oblivion

In the words of the famous scientist, astro-physicist and propagator of science to the masses – Carl Sagan, “Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity – in all this vastness – there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.” It is statements like these which make us realise that our actions, our beliefs and our existence in general is rendered irrelevant in the larger cosmic scheme of things. Still, we somehow behave and act as if the entire universe rotates around our existence and that ‘WE’ are the centre of all the cosmic activities. It is this basic understanding that helps us in realising, that it is only us ‘Humans’ who can save our beloved Planet Earth and the Human Race in general from extinction, and that there could have never been a more appropriate time than this, to realise this fact principally, before it’s too late. Once we try and reconnect with the roots which we have long forgotten, while traversing on the path of ‘progress’, we immediately get a sense of the broader picture in the larger scheme of things. Indulge yourself through the journey of self-awareness, self-realisation, self-retrospection and connecting back to the roots which have long been oblivionated – out of ‘will’ or for the lack of choice altogether. After all, what is life if it’s true purpose and meaning is not searched for? Let the search within, Begin….!!!
