Very well written short, crisp stories. The authors naval background comes in handy in the story telling. The authors knack in springing up a surprise at the end of the story is commendable. I believe the readers could easily relate to the characters as some stories access the deep psyche of the human mind. On the flip side, a few stories are not that exciting & some dialogues are repeated.
